Oval Halo Ring · Moissanite

An oval-cut moissanite in a halo setting, on a pavé band. Made in solid 925 sterling silver with 950 platinum plating. The centre stone is 1.0ct, measuring 7.0 × 5.0mm, framed by a halo of smaller round-cut moissanite that continues along the shoulders for a look that catches the light from every angle.

About the plating: this is platinum-plated sterling silver, not solid platinum. Plating wears with daily contact, most noticeably on the underside of the band. Removing the ring for washing up, exercise and manual work will extend it considerably. The silver beneath can be re-polished, and the ring can be re-plated by a jeweller.
